（中央社奧蘭多12日綜合外電報導）美國佛羅里達州奧蘭多市今天發生重大槍擊案，凶嫌馬丁遭警方擊斃，他的父親表示，對此屠殺慘案深感震驚，相信自己的兒子犯案動機是仇恨同志，而非因為他的穆斯林信仰。
英國「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，馬丁的父親沙迪克（Mir Seddique）告訴國家廣播公司新聞網（NBC News）：「這與宗教無關。」
他表示，馬丁幾個月前在邁阿密市中心看到同志伴侶相互擁抱後，曾在他的面前大加批評，他認為此事可能引發兒子的暴行。
沙迪克說：「他看到兩個男子在他妻兒的面前親吻，因此非常生氣。」
美聯社報導，沙迪克受訪時還表示，他得知兒子犯案深感震驚，他對有關此事的計畫毫無所知。
他又說：「我們要為這整個事件道歉。我們和全國一樣震驚。」
這起攻擊事件造成50死53傷，是美國有史以來奪命最多的槍擊案件，超過2007年維吉尼亞理工暨州立大學（Virginia Tech）屠殺案，那起慘案有32人喪生。1050613
